Payment and Refund Service Agreement

1.1 Subscription Services

EI VPN offers subscription plans with different durations, including weekly, monthly, and annual plans. The specific subscription period, price, service features, promotional offers, and eligibility requirements are subject to the information displayed on the purchase page at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions purchased through the official EI VPN website are one-time purchases. Unless otherwise expressly stated on the purchase page, website subscriptions do not automatically renew and will not generate charges for a subsequent subscription period when the current subscription expires.

Certain promotional offers may only be available to new users, first-time purchasers, or users purchasing specified subscription plans. Prices may vary by country or region due to local currencies, taxes, payment methods, promotional activities, and other applicable factors.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms are subject to the subscription periods, prices, and automatic renewal terms displayed on the relevant platform and the platform's applicable rules.

1.2 Payment Methods

The payment methods currently supported on the official EI VPN website are those displayed on the checkout page and may include:

• Visa, Mastercard, and other bank card payments;
• PayPal;
• Payment methods supported by Stripe;
• Other payment methods we may offer from time to time.

Payments made through the official EI VPN website are one-time payments for the applicable order. Unless otherwise expressly stated on the purchase page, we will not automatically charge your payment method for a subsequent subscription period based on that order.

Stripe, PayPal, and other payment service providers primarily provide payment processing services in connection with your order. Their respective payment procedures, payment verification processes, and handling of related information may also be subject to their applicable terms and policies.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms must be paid for through the relevant platform and managed in accordance with that platform's rules regarding subscriptions, payment methods, automatic renewal, and refunds.

1.3 Prices and Taxes

The price applicable to your purchase is the amount displayed on the order confirmation page.

Depending on your country or region, the order price may include or be subject to applicable sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or other legally required taxes.

The final amount payable is the amount displayed at checkout.

1.4 Promotional Pricing

Certain subscription plans may be offered at limited-time promotional prices, introductory prices, or other discounted rates.

The promotional price, promotional period, eligibility requirements, and other restrictions are subject to the information displayed on the purchase page.

Subscriptions purchased through the official EI VPN website are one-time purchases. The price paid applies only to the applicable order. Unless otherwise expressly stated on the purchase page, the subscription will not automatically renew at the original price or any other price after expiration.

1.5 Price Changes

EI VPN may adjust subscription prices based on operating costs, market conditions, changes to services, exchange rates, taxes, or other reasonable business considerations.

A price adjustment will not affect an existing order that has already been paid for or the subscription period associated with that order. New prices will generally apply only to new orders placed after the price adjustment takes effect.

Because website subscriptions do not automatically renew, a price adjustment will not result in additional automatic charges to an existing website subscription.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms, any changes to subscription prices or automatic renewal terms will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the rules of the relevant platform.

1.6 One-Time Payment and Subscription Expiration

Subscriptions purchased through the official EI VPN website are one-time purchases.

After payment is completed, you will receive the applicable paid benefits for the subscription period specified on the purchase page.

When the subscription period expires:

• No charge will automatically be generated for a subsequent subscription period;
• Your credit card, PayPal account, or other payment method will not be automatically charged;
• Your current subscription benefits will end in accordance with the applicable expiration date;
• If you wish to continue using paid services, you may purchase a new subscription.

If you purchase an automatically renewing subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform, the renewal method and applicable charges will be subject to the rules of the relevant platform.

1.7 Failed Payments

If a payment for a subscription purchased through the official EI VPN website fails, for example because the payment method is invalid, there are insufficient funds, the bank declines the transaction, or the payment service provider is unable to process the payment, the order may not be completed.

A failed payment for a website one-time purchase will not result in any subsequent automatic charge.

If you wish to complete the purchase, you may resubmit the order after your payment method becomes available or valid.

For automatically renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms, a failed renewal payment may result in a retry of the payment, suspension, or termination of the relevant subscription in accordance with the platform's rules.

2.1 Free Trials

EI VPN may offer free trials or promotional trials depending on the country or region, platform, account, or promotional campaign.

The specific trial period, eligibility requirements, and charging or service terms applicable after the trial are subject to the information displayed when you participate in the trial.

2.2 Charges After a Trial

If a free trial or promotional trial is associated with an automatically renewing subscription, charges for the applicable paid subscription may begin automatically after the trial period ends, at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

Such automatically renewing subscriptions may primarily apply to platforms that support automatic renewal, including the Apple App Store and Google Play.

If you do not wish to incur subsequent charges, you must cancel the automatic renewal in accordance with the applicable platform's rules before the trial period ends.

For one-time purchases offered through the official EI VPN website, unless the purchase page expressly states otherwise, no automatic charge will be made after the trial period ends.

2.3 Trial Eligibility

Free trials are generally available only to eligible users, accounts, devices, or specified subscription plans.

We may determine eligibility in accordance with the rules of the applicable promotional campaign.

We reserve the right to revoke trial eligibility where users repeatedly register accounts, repeatedly use trial benefits, or otherwise attempt to circumvent trial restrictions.

3.1 Scope

This Refund Policy primarily applies to eligible subscriptions purchased directly through the official EI VPN website.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms, refund requests must be submitted in accordance with the applicable refund policies of those platforms.

EI VPN does not directly control the refund review process or outcome of third-party platforms.

3.2 7-Day Refund Guarantee

For eligible subscriptions purchased through the official EI VPN website, you may request a refund within 7 days from the date of your initial purchase.

If you are dissatisfied with the service within 7 days of your initial purchase, you may contact us atcontact@eivpn.comto request a refund.

The 7-Day Refund Guarantee generally:

• Applies only to eligible first-time purchases made through the official EI VPN website;
• Is generally available only once per user for the same service;
• Does not apply to subsequent orders where the user has already exercised this refund right;
• Does not affect any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or waived by law.

We do not exclude any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract.

Except for the refund rights expressly provided in this Section or any mandatory rights provided by applicable law, payments already made for a subscription will not be automatically refunded due to stopping use of the service, cancellation of a subscription, a plan change, or any other reason.

3.3 Refunds for Third-Party Platforms

Subscriptions purchased through the following third-party platforms must be refunded in accordance with the applicable refund policies of the relevant platform:

• Apple App Store;
• Google Play;
• Other applicable third-party platforms.

For orders processed by third-party platforms, whether a refund is approved, the refund amount, and the refund processing time are determined by the relevant platform in accordance with its rules.

3.4 Orders Not Eligible for the 7-Day Refund Guarantee

Except where otherwise required by applicable law, the following orders are generally not eligible for the 7-Day Refund Guarantee under Section 3.2:

• Orders for which the 7-day refund period has expired;
• Orders where the same user has previously exercised the 7-Day Refund Guarantee;
• Orders purchased through third-party channels that are not authorized by EI VPN;
• Accounts, redemption codes, or subscriptions purchased through unauthorized resellers;
• Products or services expressly identified as non-refundable on the purchase page;
• Orders associated with services terminated due to violations of the applicable terms of service, abuse of the service, or other violations;
• Other orders that are expressly ineligible for a refund under applicable law or the purchase terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Nothing in this Section limits any consumer protection rights or other statutory rights that cannot be excluded or waived under applicable law.

3.5 Refund Requests and Subscription Cancellation

For one-time purchases made through the official EI VPN website, submitting a refund request does not require cancellation of automatic renewal because website subscriptions do not automatically renew.

If you simply wish to stop using the paid service, no automatic renewal cancellation is required. Your purchased subscription benefits will generally remain available until the original expiration date.

If you wish to request a refund, you must submit a refund request in accordance with this Agreement.

Stopping use of the service, cancelling a subscription, or purchasing a new subscription does not automatically result in a refund.

3.6 Refund Review

After a refund request is submitted, we may review the request based on order information, payment records, account status, and service usage.

Where reasonably necessary, we may request your order number, registered email address, proof of payment, or other reasonable information to verify the ownership of the order and your eligibility for a refund.

For eligible refund requests, we generally process the refund within 30 days after approval.

The actual time required for the refunded amount to reach your account may depend on the processing time of your bank, payment service provider, card issuer, or third-party platform.

3.7 Refund Method

Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

If the original payment method cannot accept the refund or the payment service provider requires another method of processing the refund, we may use another reasonable refund method in accordance with the applicable payment provider's rules.

3.8 Refund Currency and Exchange Rates

Refunds will generally be processed in the original transaction currency and through the original payment channel.

If a currency conversion is required due to the payment channel, bank, or other circumstances, the amount actually received may differ from the original payment amount due to exchange rate fluctuations, bank charges, or payment service provider fees.

For refunds processed by third-party platforms, the applicable refund currency, exchange rate, and processing time are subject to the rules of the relevant platform.

4.1 Purchase of a New Subscription

While your current subscription remains active, you may purchase a new subscription plan from the options available on the purchase page.

Purchasing a new subscription will not automatically cancel, shorten, or replace your current active subscription.

Your current subscription will remain valid for the period specified in the original purchase order.

4.2 Activation of a New Subscription

If you purchase a new subscription before your current subscription expires, the new subscription generally will not take effect immediately. Instead, it will take effect after the current subscription expires.

For example, if your current subscription has 15 days remaining and you purchase a new one-month subscription during that period, you may continue using your current subscription for the remaining 15 days. The new one-month subscription will begin after the current subscription expires.

The specific duration, service features, and price of the new subscription are subject to the information displayed at the time of purchase.

4.3 Payments and Plan Changes

Purchasing a new subscription or changing the plan for future use does not automatically result in a refund of the current subscription.

Except as provided under Section 3 of this Agreement or where otherwise required by applicable law:

• Amounts already paid for the current subscription will not be automatically refunded due to a plan change;
• The unused portion of the current subscription will not automatically be converted into a cash refund;
• The purchase of a new subscription does not create an automatic refund or credit for the current subscription;
• The current subscription remains valid until its original expiration date;
• The new subscription will take effect after the current subscription expires in accordance with this Agreement.

4.4 Multiple Subscription Purchases

If you purchase multiple new subscriptions while your current subscription remains active, unless otherwise expressly stated on the purchase page, the new subscriptions will generally be queued in the order in which they were purchased.

Each subsequent subscription will take effect after the preceding subscription expires.

You may view your current active subscription and purchased but not-yet-active subscriptions through your account's subscription management page.

4.5 Stopping Use of the Current Subscription

You may stop using your current subscription at any time.

Stopping use of the current subscription will not automatically result in a refund of amounts already paid and will not shorten the subscription's validity period.

Except as otherwise provided by the Refund Policy or applicable law, the current subscription benefits will generally remain available until the original expiration date.

4.6 Subscription Management

Subscriptions purchased through the official EI VPN website may be managed through the subscription management function of your EI VPN account.

Depending on the available features, you may view information including:

• Your current subscription;
• Subscription expiration date;
• Purchased but not-yet-active subscriptions;
• Other applicable subscription information.

Website subscriptions do not automatically renew.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms should be managed in accordance with the relevant platform's rules regarding subscriptions, payment methods, automatic renewal, and refunds.

5.1 Payment Disputes

If you believe that a transaction contains an error, was unauthorized, or involves another payment-related issue, we recommend that you first contact us atcontact@eivpn.comso that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

For transaction disputes involving the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms, you must also comply with the applicable dispute resolution procedures of the relevant platform.

5.2 Chargebacks

If you have concerns about a transaction, we recommend contacting us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

If you initiate a chargeback directly through your card issuer, payment service provider, or other institution, we reserve the right to investigate the relevant transaction and account.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if we determine that the transaction was valid and no refund is otherwise due, we reserve the right to provide the relevant payment service provider with order information, payment records, service records, and other necessary documentation to respond to the chargeback.

5.3 Duplicate Refunds and Abnormal Refunds

If you receive a duplicate refund for the same order through EI VPN, a payment service provider, an app store, a bank, or another channel, you should promptly notify us.

If a refund is obtained through fraud, malicious conduct, false statements, or other improper means, we may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, take appropriate measures, including restricting account use or terminating the account and related services.

5.4 Abnormal Payment Activity and Account Restrictions

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that an account is involved in malicious refunds, duplicate refunds, fraudulent chargebacks, payment fraud, abuse of the refund policy, or other abnormal payment activity, we may, to the extent permitted by applicable law:

• Suspend some or all paid benefits associated with the account;
• Restrict the account from making further subscription purchases;
• Suspend or terminate the account;
• Conduct further review of the relevant transaction;
• Provide necessary transaction information to payment service providers, banks, or relevant platforms.

These measures do not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.

6.1 Purchases Through Unauthorized Channels

Accounts, redemption codes, or subscriptions purchased through third-party websites, individuals, resellers, or other channels that are not authorized by EI VPN are not orders directly sold by EI VPN.

Except as otherwise required by applicable law, such orders are not covered by the refund policy applicable to purchases made through the official EI VPN website.

6.2 Authorized Resellers

If EI VPN provides subscriptions through authorized resellers, the applicable payment, refund, and cancellation terms may also be subject to the reseller's sales terms.

For orders where payment is collected directly by the reseller, refund requests should generally be submitted to the original purchase channel.

8.1 Stopping Use

For one-time purchases made through the official EI VPN website, users do not need to cancel automatic renewal.

If you no longer wish to use the paid service, you may simply stop using the current subscription.

Stopping use will not automatically result in a refund. Your purchased subscription benefits will generally remain available until the original expiration date.

The subscription will not automatically generate a new charge after expiration.

8.2 Termination for Violations

If you violate the EI VPN User License Agreement, Terms of Service, or applicable laws and regulations, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account or services in accordance with the applicable rules.

If your account is terminated due to your violation, amounts already paid will generally not be refunded, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided under the Refund Policy.

8.3 Invalid Payment Method

For one-time purchases made through the official EI VPN website, an invalid payment method will not result in subsequent automatic charges or automatic renewal.

If you wish to continue using paid services, you must purchase a new subscription after the current subscription expires.

For automatically renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms, an invalid payment method or failed renewal payment may result in suspension or termination of the relevant subscription in accordance with the platform's rules.

10.1 Right to Amend

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may amend this Agreement based on business development, service changes, changes to payment methods, applicable laws and regulations, or regulatory requirements.

10.2 Notice of Amendments

Updated versions of this Agreement will be published through the official website, application, email, or other appropriate channels and will indicate the latest update date.

If an amendment materially affects your payment-related rights, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

10.3 Changes to Prices and Subscriptions

If you continue to purchase a new subscription or continue to use relevant paid services after an amendment or price adjustment becomes effective, you will be deemed to have read and accepted the terms applicable to that transaction, except where applicable law requires your express consent.

A one-time purchase made through the official EI VPN website will not result in additional automatic charges due to subsequent price changes.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms that support automatic renewal, applicable subscription price and renewal rules will be governed by applicable law and the rules of the relevant platform.
